Kernow House is situated near Shelly Beach on the edge of the Likoni slums area South of Mombasa. It is the home of Child of Mercy Children’s Centre and the African ‘hub’ for Aid4orphans activities
The large house has 3 girls dormitories, office, library/homework room and the dinning room.
Upstairs is the separate volunteers accommodation with 2 dormitories, kitchen area, bathroom and living area. The boys live in our newly completed separate Dormitory Block
We have 4 Aunties ( Housemothers) who care for the children on a shift system day and night
Jessica the Centre Director/Manager also liases with the Parents/Guardians of all our sponsored children who live in Likoni and assists with all our Projects.
Our vision is to use our base at Kernow House to enhance the education and welfare of as many children and families as we can on a long term basis.
These Children need your help, give as much as you can afford? Everything is appreciated.
